I pick and choose what I promote, simply because my reputation is important to me. I think long and hard on things before I make decisions. I must believe in a person or product before I recommend it. My grandfather used to tell me, “You are only as good as your word.” It was solid advice.
EmpowerMind is one of the programs chosen as a worthy cause for the Pepsi Refresh Project. Detroit now has an opportunity to win $250,000 that will be used to help it’s students through the Empowermind program.
Goals are listed as follows:
- To help more youth struggling with: school, learning, and confidence
- To help high school athletes prepare for college off the field!
- To help expand the EmpowerMind program beyond Michigan students
I recommend voting for Empowermind in the Pepsi program because I believe in it’s benefits. My son has attended Kim Kassner’s EmpowerMind workshop. She teaches skills that are beyond learning techniques, they are LIFE skills and they are taught in positive, fun and empowering ways.
