Today is the final blog post for 2009’s 30 Days of Thanks. When I began this project I thought after 30 days, I would be happy to see the closure. Now we’re here, I’m not.
Considering and writing about gratitude daily was very therapeutic, but more importantly, posting regularly has become a habit. I’ve really looked forward to the time I sat in front of my laptop and wrote my thoughts down. Even more surprising was how many of you are reading! Thank you for your support, comments, messages on this blog, facebook, twitter and by email. Even my boys commented, which kinda freaked me out because I didn’t realize they were interested in reading anything I wrote.
I plan to continue to write every day but my articles will be spread across several blogs. In addition to this blog, I’ll be rotating articles between The Sticky Floor, Real Estate Tourist, CyberCletch and Canadiana Connection. Writing on these blogs has been sporadic at best, simply because I didn’t MAKE the time to do it. I now realize how important it is, mostly because I enjoy the process and I’ve denied myself personal indulgences far too long.
So today I am thankful for several reasons:
- I’m grateful that you have read and commented on my thoughts. The support and kind words have meant more to me than you could possibly know.
- I’m thankful the process developed a habit of writing daily.
- I’m eternally grateful for connecting with the fantastic Stacy Brice last June, at a conference in Niagara Falls. Not only has my world improved by knowing her, her invitation to join 30 Days of Thanks is what started this concept rolling.
Thank you, thank YOU, THANK YOU!
