“The moment we are confined to a space that is narrow and shallow, our souls begin to die. We thrive upon the spacious love of unlimited space and the gift of acceptance.”
Jeffrey Patnaude from his book Living Simultaneously: Balancing Self-care, Personal Relationships and Work
Today I am thankful for the resuscitation my soul has received over the past year and for the individuals who revived it. Although I began the process alone, several people have helped me find my way back onto the path of spacious love and acceptance. I will be forever thankful for their kindness and understanding.
Three people stand out as having given me what I needed at precisely the time I needed it. They all began as business relationships and have ended up as friends.
- Kim Kassner of EmpowerMind. Kim was one of the first people I connected with in Michigan and her positivity and excitement for life are contagious. My son and I attended her Empowermind workshop where I was reminded that individuality should be celebrated rather than repressed.
- Andy Stuck of Stuck?, Inc. There were some issues I was struggling with. I didn’t understand why I started on this path of life as a firecracker and found myself doused in a bucket of cold water. Mostly I wanted to understand why I stayed. Andy was incredibly insightful and had an uncanny ability to get to the point quickly. Spending a few sessions with her saved me years of typical therapy costs! Seriously!
- Jeff Patnaude & Susan Lewis of The Patnaude Group and The Golden Apple Center for Inner Excellence. My first two visits to their farm was as a coaching client. I was there to learn leadership skills but I left with so much more than that. I learned – with scientific proof – that I have what it takes to be successful in my own right. But more than that, I began to see how I could live in my world outside of the narrow and shallow space I had been existing in. I was fully aware my soul was dying a slow death but Jeff & Susan helped me to realize that it could flourish again. That it was worthy of flourishing again.
If you would like to know more about these awesome people, don’t hesitate to ask me more. If you decide to contact them and use their gifts for your own benefit, please let them know how much I appreciate them by telling them I referred you.
