Nickelback Concert, Bristow, VA 09-29-09

August 9, 2009 By Pat Williams

While on vacation, I attended a concert in Bristow, Virginia at the Nissan Pavilion. Not only did I have a great view of the entire 4+ hour show, but Dark Horse was the best and most fun concert I’ve ever attended.

We arrived a little late and only saw Saving Abel perform Addicted. Papa Roach was a complete surprise – great stage presence.

Hinder was good, I’ve liked their music for some time.

Nickelback was awesome. Music was great, effects were stunning and Chad Kroeger had the audience in the palm of his hand for the entire show. In fact, the show was so good, I only took time to video the first song and their performance of Highway to Hell with Austin Winkler from Hinder and Jacoby Shaddix from Papa Roach.

All four bands will be playing at the DTE Music Center on August 11, 12 in Clarkston. It’s well worth the trip just to see Daniel Adair’s drum solo! You won’t be disappointed – arrive early!
